On the weekend of Saturday 1st December and Sunday 2nd December 2012 sees this annual re-enactment.

On Saturday, a camp will be set up by Jacobite re-enactors at Swarkestone, which will be overwhelmed by Redcoat soldiers loyal to King George, then retaken by the Prince's men.

  1. Just watched the re-enactment video . The society did a great job as usual. Thanks for keeping the Jacobite Memory alive. Pity it all had to end a Culloden. The last civil war in Britian. Not many people in Derby seemed to be very interested. I guess they are not into History, especially about the Scots.
